Awesome stay Positive: The balcony view,air-conditioning and a clean kitchen Negative: Nothing

Unpleasant Negative: The management company were preoccupied sending communication to collect the security deposit and have me register on an unnecessarily fussy system and then continued to send reminders after I had successfully registered. Information provided about the internet was incorrect resulting in a failure to provide the service for the first 12 hours. No plug in the kinpleasantchen sink and no hot water in the kitchen. Lots of instruction delivered to make the property management job easier but not the same interest in the guest experience.

Positive: The view of the beautiful green Umhlanga was breathtaking, better than a view of the ocean. The neighborhood is safe and clean. The building has a lovely indoor pool. The gym needs some love and more equipment. I loved all the shopping malls around this apartment nothing is far from here. The safety is good in the area and in the apartment block as well. Negative: Not staying longer.

Unhygienic and no response from hosts. Positive: The location is somewhat near a safe walking distance to amenities. Negative: The room booked at CUTE AND COSY MARINA 501 in Umhlanga , Durban had roaches and we requested a cancellation or intervention and there was none, not even an offer of an insect spray. I would strongly advise people to go back to booking hotels and avoid these independent properties. They are not properly cleaned and there are no proper pest control measures in place. My complaint fell on deaf ears. They simply didn't care and I deeply regret booking this property.

Positive: There were positives, and the room itself was generally okay, Negative: but the bedding let the stay down. The duvet and additional warm blankets had a strong body odour and did not smell clean or fresh. It was uncomfortable to use and affected sleep. I flagged it with staff and requested a replacement. I would return only if housekeeping standards improve, especially around linen and blankets.
