Stunning 2 Bedroom Apartment in uMhlanga

Happy and highly recommend Positive: The convenience of the location of the property and the quietness of the area. You are in a quiet place for a peace of mind, yet you are not far from lots of amenities, including Umhlanga beach. The rooms are reasonably sized, and I loved the big balcony. Negative: The issue about parking space. I proactively disclosed that there are 3 people coming with 2 cars, however I was not told that only one car will have a parking. The lack of communication regarding parking arrangements was a little disappointing.

Positive: Quietness of the location Negative: The accommodation itself felt cheap on first impression. Furniture falling apart. Aircon not working . Battery was dead. Washing machine gone for repairs. A few live cochroaches under the bed bathroom and in the kitchen. Did not.feeel like the apartment was swept in recent days. The gym equipment is rusty. Falling to pieces and unsafe from the cycle to the treadmill and the bench press. This was jammed because of the rust. Overall a very poor impression of the apartment.

We had a very disappointing and unsettling experience at this apartment. Upon checking in on Thursday, we were looking forward to a relaxing stay with my friend. However, our peace was shattered on Friday morning when we heard footsteps while bathing. To our surprise, an older Indian man walked in, claiming to be the owner, looking for an adapter left behind by previous guests. What was alarming was his lack of consideration and disregard for our safety. When we expressed our concerns about him entering without knocking, especially since we were alone as girls and at the time we were naked , his response was unacceptable. He asserted that it's his apartment and he can do as he pleases. Needless to say, we felt unsafe and uncomfortable. We decided to cut our stay short and checked out the same night. This experience has left us questioning the security and management of this apartment. We would not recommend it to others, especially solo female travelers or those prioritizing safety.
