Sea View Apartment at Coral Point Sibaya

Relaxing environment but disappointing and unprofessional staff at Mafadi Air Positive: The property was peaceful as there were rules about noise. There is a beautiful nature trail which leads to Pebble Beach. Negative: Laundry room- there was only one tumble dryer working. They need to add more dryers and clean up the laundry room. There should be an area outside to hang the sheets in the sun as the laundry room had a mouldy smell. The apartment I stayed at was not maintained that well. The company doesn’t check if things are working properly. The hairdryer was not meant for a South African power outlet, the iron was not working, the was borace and the cleaners just sweep it and use the same broom through out the apartment. The geyser stopped heating up, I was told to reset it each time it did that. I had to boil water to take a bath and eventually they fixed it. I actually checked out 11 days before my checkout date. I sent emails and no replies from their management team. Very disappointing behaviour from staff at Mafadi Air. After all my issues I checked on other platforms and the same issues were brought up.

Positive: At this stage. Nothing. The property asks you to pay a damage deposit which they take weeks to refund Negative: I checked out on 4th of July 2026. And now a month and half later my refund has not been processed.

Not a pleasant visit. No offers of reimbursement, discount or additional stay was offered. Positive: The view from the balcony. Negative: Communication after booking should be more personal via a personal call to finalise. We were not advised to finalise our booking by the host till our arrival, which delayed our entry by an hour and a half. It. We had to contact Booking.com as the owner was not contactable. The wifi was only connected on the second day. We needed to cut an outing short to be authentic property for repairs to repairs to the shower and lights done at my request and advise during our stay. Shower mould was visible. The cleaners could do a better job. A washing machine was provided but again with one pod for a week's stay. The cothes' horse needs replacing as it is rusted. A coffee machine is a great addition but only 2 pods were provided for a weeks stay. The rest were really cheap coffees and teas with no milk or bottled water provide for day 1.

The stay was wonderful Positive: The property was clean and beautiful, has an ocean view, the place looks even better than on camera. Negative: I don’t like the booking security deposit is too high, still have not received my refund for it, which I paid a month ago for it. I have to back and forth for my refund when I didn’t break any rules
